I think I can speak for the entire DC fanbase when I say Justice Leauge is exciting stuff but with the recent downfall of DC movies I can't help but wonder what the fanbase thinks the film will be like.

What downfall? Batman V. Superman and Suicide Squad both made handsome profits, and Wonder Woman succeeded beyond ANYONE'S dreams.

I look forward to the Justice League movie. Period. \:\)

... and become a permanent part of the mythology. I’m frankly sick simply at the thought of the promotional campaign about to be shoved down our throats – during the holidays, no less – cardboard cutouts with Affleck’s smug, stupid, fast-buck face, now permanently associated with a character I used to love.

But hey, if you want to reward Time/Warner for what they’ve done – if you want to pad the pockets of obscenely rich executives and spoiled actors, by all means put your stamp on it – give them your money, and encourage more of the utter contempt that Hollywood proudly preens for its own audience – just grab the old ankles and say ‘thank you, sir, may I have another’ – because you’re for sure going to get one.

Just please don’t complain in the morning when you get what you voted for.

DC has always been different than Marvel. With the League, there's ALWAYS been that moment when the tide turns, the League lashes out at full power, and the villains fall (Cue the Super Friends theme). I'm hoping at it's darkest, Superman reappears at full on Silver Age power levels and leads the League in an EPIC curbstomp of the invaders, just to be different than Infinity War.

I'd love to see this blurb on the back of the Blu-Ray box.

Really looking forward to it, Steppenwolf is a villain I love to HATE. I'm just terrified he'll destroy Themyscira. The only thing I wouldn't like would be Supes coming back bad.

Whenever I think of the movie this theme plays in my head.

And the real irony is, the fans will flock to see it anyway.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
