Obscure, psychedelic, metatextual, and despite its complete and utter lack of regard for reader accessibility I can't help but find Shade a strange compulsion to dip into.
A good deal of its attraction lies in the work of Marly Zarcone's clean and expressive linework, but somewhere in there amidst the chaotic way in which folk from another dimension perceive and interact there is the story of runaways and second chances given... I would say the piece will work a good deal better as a collected work however. \(coffee\)
