From the Marvel News section:

“Dan and RB are working to make the Fantastic Four’s 60th Anniversary a nonstop thrill ride for fans, one that touches on all aspects of the FF’s world and re-establishes them as the cornerstone players of the Marvel Universe,” Executive Editor Tom Brevoort said. “Expect some big surprises, status quo changes and shocking revelations in the months ahead—to say nothing of the return of some classic villains that readers have been asking for!”

Marvel will be commemorating the FF's 60th anniversary with a storyline titled The Bride of Doom Click here for full story. It also looks like Johnny may be heading for the alter himself. I think the odds are pretty low of either Johnny or Victor's wedding actually taking place. I feel there are several things wrong with this approach. First of all, the FF should be the story, not the possible wedding of Doctor Doom. It's too bad Marvel canceled his solo series because IMO this plot would have been more suitable there. Also, the FF aren't even prominent in the promo art above when they should be. I also find Doom's attire is too much like the Third Reich officer uniforms in WW II. Why would a Romani want to look like that??

I have been keeping the Fantastic Four on my pull list at the LCS but I've really not been reading it that much. I suppose I will catch up just to see how this all plays out. But I don't have much faith in Slott these days.
