Well, I'm 90% won over, at least for the duration of this miniseries. I thought it did a good job of introducing everyone (except Linda, who got a voiceover bit but only in her professional capacity), setting up a threat, addressing the obvious questions, and ending on a cliffhanger.

The one thing I didn't like was what appeared to be a major retcon near the end of the book.
