Subj: Question about FLASHPOINT and the rules of changing the past
Posted: Sat Jan 19, 2013 at 04:54:52 pm GMT (Viewed 339 times)

Someone on the Superman board said that his understanding was that a bad guy for some reason can change the past and even kill people, but if a hero tries to fix the timeline, some force stops THAT change of history.

In other words, bad guys changing the past by doing bad stuff (even murder) is fine, but heroes trying to SAVE people by undoing the change is a no-no.

Only having seen bits and pieces of FLASHPOINT, I'm no expert.

Can someone respond to the assertion described above? Did FLASHPOINT establish such a crazy "rule" regarding time-travel and changing the past?
