They aren't correct. But I wouldn't want to see Bart until season 3 or 4.

Next season they should explore Wally's role.

I'll be happy if we never see him. Never did like the character.

Rumor is, the writers are planning on that next season. Rumor also is, he'll be black. \:\(

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?

I wouldn't mind seeing an older man play Jay Garrick. But I would prefer Max Mercury. Barry will need another mentor after Dr. Wells and Max seems the perfect fit.

I'm hoping Joe has a son he never mentioned and that son adopts a red headed white boy named Wallace. So Iris will just have a white nephew. via adoption.

What's up with always trying to keep the red man down?

Why Max and not Jay?

In the comics, Max Mercury was known for, "Zen, master of speed". At least in the days of Wally West anyway. Out of all of the speedsters, aside from Barry himself (well, his COMIC book self), Max seemed to know more about speed than anyone, including Jay Garrick. Besides, the writers want to bring in Wally and that would be two Flashes in the show. So Max would be a good counter-balance to that since he doesn't go by that name and would be a good mentor to a Barry who doesn't know a whole lot about Speed.

Of course, if they did bring in Jay and not Max, I'd be all for that too. Either character would work really.

Would you prefer Jay?

No. I prefer there be only two speedsters, Barry and Wells.

On the TV show, Barry is so young in spirit that it negates any reason to bring in Impulse or Kid Flash (be it Bart or Wally).

I guess, if Wells gets found out, thus rendering no longer possible his role as Barry's mentor, it might be OK to have Jay Garrick show up to play the mentor role. But they already have Joe, and Barry's Dad, so really there's no need for Jay.

There's ONE guy who knows more about speed than even Max Mercury, and THAT is Green Arrow's partner, Speedy! ;\)

Joe could have a black son who falls in love with and marries a white woman. Their child could be white and grow up to be Wally someday, so there's no need for adoptions. \:\)
