Is it just me or do they seem to go out of their way to Not have Barry and Wally in scenes together? They mention each other but haven't been together in the same place except briefly during the car racing crash. I thought they might reveal that when they finally meet face to face that they knew each other from the past. (Probably doubtful since Barry
knows what Wally looks like from his stalker scene last episode). Does Wally even know what Barry looks like?
I feel like when they do meet we will get the drama of Wally being jealous of Barry "stealing" his role as Joe's son.

I think it's probably been a writer's choice because Barry in any of the West "family" scenes would just be awkward.

I mean, Barry is Iris and Joe's family, but he didn't know Iris's mother and he isn't related to Wally, so he isn't going through the same emotions as Joe and Iris and Wally.

But absolutely I am curious what sort of dynamic the two characters will develop. We probably won't really know until Wally finds out Barry's secret identity, which with this show is only a matter of time \:\)

I never thought about that before. If I were Barry, I want to keep my distance right now anyway, as it wouldn't feel right to intrude too much on this relationship building.

One thing I've noticed with Wally, it feels like they've gone out of their way to have dialog mentioning how Wally likes going fast and loves speed... hint, hint.

I don't think they will get along. My grandad was abandoned by his father before he was born...when he was middle aged he met his father, his new stepmom and their adopted son. My grandfather and this quasi-brother of his that he didn't grow up with and wasn't a blood relative of did not get along. I don't think Barry and Wally will get along for a while...they're not really family.

Not just you. I've noticed that too. Wally referred to Barry as white shadow or something.

That really would suck tho. To find out I had a dad and a sister I never knew, only to learn that he raised someones kid and didn't raise me. I would probably have some ill regard towards Barry.
