Back when Arrow was the only show it was slightly realistic but now we have time travel, alternate timelines and metahumans. Is introducing aliens too big of a stretch?

I don't see why not. It works in the comics, it can work here too.

But the thing is, CBS's Supergirl already has the Martian Manhunter on her show. So, it wouldn't be plausible to introduce another version of the character in the Arrowverse because that would create confusion among the fans. So, the best anyone can hope for is J'onn going through a portal from the Supergirl Universe and into the Arrowverse.

And this could happen too since Laurel went to Central City and Cisco went to Star City, all without the main hero doing it.

So, it can work but I'd rather not have J'onn crossover to the Arrowverse because he has the D.E.O. to run and given his situation, it just wouldn't make much sense for him to want to pay a visit to the Arrowverse.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?

I think I vaguely knew he was on Supergirl but I was going with the confusing option...the Arrowvese has their own Martian Manhunter with their own actor. But I guess that would probably alienate the other actor on Supergirl so maybe it's not a good idea.
