This post contains mild spoilers for the Supergirl Episode that aired recently called "Solitude"...

I saw one or two posters here grow a little excited about the Legion Flight Ring that appeared as an Easter Egg in the Flash episode of "Welcome to Earth-2".

Wouldn't it be nice if the Legion of Super-Heroes would make an appearance on the Flash or even Legends of Tomorrow? Unfortunately, that seems even more unlikely with the reveal in Supergirl's episode "Solitude" that aired earlier tonight.

Supergirl flew to Superman's Fortress of Solitude and guess what was there? That very same Legion Flight Ring we saw in "Welcome to Earth-2". There is no denying it, it's the same one.

So, looks like the Legion exists in Supergirl's universe rather than Barry's. Still, since Barry is crossing over in Supergirl's 18th episode, I suppose it is possible for a Legion episode in the Flash or Legends of Tomorrow. Who knows, stranger things have happened.

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?

batman and Superman both should exist on Kara earth, and maybe that is what Rip hunter has been seeing in alternative futures?

I am quite happy with that, it makes sense for the Legion to appear in Supergirl after all. I loved their appearance in Smallville and you can easily see them being an excellent fit for the Supergirl series, anything that gets the Legion of Super-Heroes back in the mainstream and talked about is to be considered a great thing I think.

We may not be getting any Legion appearances yet, let alone a Legion series, but we've had a whole slew of Legion references thrown at us in both Flash and Supergirl.

And that means that someone, or several someones on the production teams are Legion fans and are discussing the team, even if in small ways.

And don't forget: In Legion history, Supergirl is the first of the super-cousins to join the team. Superboy is inducted some time AFTER her.

So, I'm taking positives from all this. \:\)
