I have a question about the upcoming run.
I was told Morrison was going to feature multiple earth born lanterns in his run ( From Hal to John to Kyle to Jessica )
so I was looking forward to that.

Then someone online, on another site said it was just Hal, and the others were going to go a kind of comic limbo, unused.

So, what do you guys know?

So all impressions I've gotten from what I've read and seen is that it is Hal only.

But it's also been quite a while since we've had only one Green Lantern book, so I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they announce a second book.

Unless sales were low enough that they want to give having two books a break. Both are around the 23,000 copies sold range.

Apparently, it could be a space cop book with Hal Jordan being a galactic detective and handling different cases on alien planets.
Hal will have to adapt to the local context & laws and meet the strangest extraterrestrials that Grant Morrison can imagine.

We don't know that much about the book, but all impression point to Hal being the main star with no other GL's being placed in a supporting role. That doesn't mean the other GL's won't show up, however. Honestly, I hope the book will focus mainly on Hal. It's been long overdue that he got a book to call his very own. DC would do well to get rid of John, the Alley Rat, Guy and Baz and just keep Hal and Jessica. All these other Earth GL's are not necessary and forces DC to put the focus on them all instead of just one.

Fear not, though. John is still hanging around the Justice League title so you can see him there. Jessica will also be a part of Justice League: Odyssey which is coming out this fall. As for the Alley Rat and Guy? Outside of the the Sanctuary storyline, I don't know where they are going to end up and I can honestly care less. Simon Baz is also a mystery and I could care less about what happens to him too.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
