I was expecting something more rowdy but this was very nice.

The storyteller. Never heard this before but you can't go wrong with Jim Croce.

This is a classic. Lovely song.

This is the first rebellious Christmas song I remember. Never saw the video footage before. It's still one of the best Chrsitmas rockers.

This is one of my kids' favorites. They love the "Ah ha!"

So far this is the only song I predicted you'd play. Love this Christmas tune. Love the video.

This sounds really familiar, but I can't remember ever hearing it. Very good.

I think I've heard this before, but not necessarily at Christmas time. Does it sound like another song? I don't know. It's good though. I mostly remember Angel from the 1980 movie Foxes. They sang 20th Century Foxes. It was played often back when we first got cable, so it was a novelty.

I think I liked this list the best because it had the most new-to-me songs. Great stuff!

Yes, Angel had a hit song "The Winter Song" which is really similar to this one. I almost just played that one.

My favorites were Jim Croce's "It Doesn't Have to Be That Way";The Kinks' "Father Christmas"; José Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad". Seems like yesterday when I was in high school , college, and grad school, when these songs first came out. Very enjoyable listening.
