... is that it's so refreshing. You've got all these heroes emoting and equivocating and trying to figure out if their actions and decisions are good/bad, wrong, etc. The Hulk, however, is totally unwavering. Totally convinced he is correct. Not a shred of doubt in his mind. For those of you who watch the SHIELD (for my money, the best drama on TV), the Hulk reminds me a lot of Vic Mackey. Mackey is a tough as nails cop who does it his way, all the time. He is brutal, he is ruthless, and man, if you cross him or threaten his family, you are TOAST. He will stop at nothing to kick your ass/kill you. He also isn't above torturing people he is convinced are dangerous criminals. It makes for some damn good drama. My wife, who watches the show with me, has often wondered out loud what would happen if Mackey tortures a guy he thinks is a rapist/murderer, only to discover that the guy is totally innocent.

Now, I realize even if the Illuminati didn't intend to send the Hulk to Sakaar (I don't think they did) and had nothing to do with that bomb that killed the Hulk's wife, unborn child and subjects (I don't they had anything to do with it), they still did agree to exile the Hulk, and ergo, in the Hulk's eyes, they are guilty. But I do wonder what the Hulk will do should it turn out, as I suspect, that the Illuminati did not send him to Sakaar on purpose or try to kill him.

Will he regret beating them to a pulp? Will he regret torturing them, or whatever else he does to punish them? Or will he just shrug and say they had it coming anyway, b/c they exiled him? The aftermath of WWH is going to be very very interesting to me.

(This post was originally on the battle board, but someone reminded me that it's more appropriately posted on the Hulk board, so here it is)
