And now...

Triple Helix 004

It was some solid superhero adventure. Worth a thread note and worth more than the predominant negativity here:
> This comic constantly raises more and more questions while providing nearly no answers, and in many cases, the answers it does provide only raise more questions. This is usually a decent method to keep readers invested because they're curious as to what happens next, but you've got to throw your readers a bone every once in a while.
Although that critique point does have merit.

    One of them, Vanguard, has already been seen in Next Men: Aftermath.

    I liked the book—though I'm starting to weary of Byrne's Marvel analogues:

    Trio=Fantastic Four (though there's three of them…)
    Nautilus (Trio antagonist)=Sub Mariner
    Triple Helix=X-Men
    Conclave (the "whole new team of heroes")=Avengers

    Plus, there are analogues for the Sentinels, the High Evolutionary, and more…

That's them no doubt. And all coming at ya, fast and furious, with scenario twists left and right. \:\) Poor Becca. Poor Cheryl. \:\(

    I'm thinking Byrne would like to be working back in Marvel universe, but can't or won't, so he's doing the next best thing. The books are entertaining,

        but I'd like him to give some more "original" stuff.

      That would be good too.

      I miss Dad and Dan.
