It would be great to actually own this ish.
(BTW, eBay bids today range from $50 to over $150 if in the dubious CGC condition.)
Any (topical) comments from this revisiting?

One of my least favorite "villains" - the Freak.

Another near-death-heart-illness experience, another Happy-being-zapped-into-the-Freak again.

Seriously, Iron Main baits the Freak into a specially prepared vehicle and battles him inside of it until sleeping gas takes hold? How on earth did the Freak not randomly smash through the sides and accidentally break free? Sigh...

Still, it was the issue that introduced the concept of "integrated circuits", replacing the transistors, and the thermocouple, so some good wins there. The next issue (with the Unicorn) was a ton better as were the rest of the Goodwin issues - one of my favorite runs overall.

And Happy and Pepper were together as it should still be,

I'm still waiting to see Hogan returned to life brainwashed into a cyborg villain with a mechanical arm and a hate for...wait, that's already been done... 8 P

Just have some random burst of cobalt radiation resurrect bim as the Freak. Claim residual radiation in his body kept him teetering juzt this side of deatb all this time. Once Riri stops his rampage she reverses the change and presto, Happy lives again. Now Pepper has to choose to stay on as CEO of Resilient or help the man she loves recover.

Actually a good idea - except I'd switch to preferring Stark doing that vs. Riri once we have him back- bring to a head the angst/guilt he would have for possibly ending Hogan's life back at the hospital with his extremis powers - although that of course is open to interpretation...

Yeah...rather hoping Riri meets a refrigerator soon myself.
