ARGH! It appears Marvel has closed down their previously reliable 3 page free preview at comicstore.marvel.com! And the rerouted Marvel home page can ONLY be easily navigated with the most updated browser. I keep getting "An unexpected error has occurred." An unexpected error has occurred, indeed. *blames the Robot Revolution* Anyways there's still comixology...
2020 Force Works #3 (of 3)
First of all, contrary to what Bobbi says the name ULTIM.O.D.O.K. was a brilliantly clever name and hybrid twist to the story. And Quake's observation of MODOK's reversal of fortune in terms of sizes was hilarious.
Secondly, it's too bad that this series is over - just like the team is. Maria Hill has been rebooted into a new pain in the ass leader of a normal (CIA?) security agency (in spite of looking and acting recycled from her earliest appearances in SHIELD). But the adventure wasn't about her. It was the fun and exciting interplay between the quartet of heroes that made the installment - just like in the first two issues. It was an enjoyed mini series.
Question: What was Ultimo's last chronological appearance before this arc?
Question: Do you feel that Rhodey was a little too tech savy for his own good - or maybe he was just in the tech-know because it was his armor capabilities?
Question: So, the conclusion is trying to tell the readers that (as of now) ALL these transformed Deathloks were conveniently destroyed in chasm that Quake made and ALL access to the programs that can create similar transformed Deathloks is pattly, completely contained in Mock's back pocket (ie.thumb drive)?
Question: Did you like this conclusion? Mini? Morse/Walker relationship? Do you predict MODOK will return tied to Ultimo or with no mention of this fate?
I miss Dad & Dan.
