I heard they changed the roster of the founding members would that make this book null and void completely?

With the return of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman as founders, I would say it at the very least needs to be revamped a bit. I haven't read the story since it was first released but a clever writer could still explain the absence of the Big 3 from the story and make in still part of continuity.

The mini series was never firmly placed in continuity as by the end of it we'd seen appearances by Blackhawks, a couple that were supposed to be dead, as well as various Seven Soldiers of Victory that should have been still time-lost. Waid pretty much had to come up with hyper-time to explain away the conflicts.

In my opinion ..... yes! ..... though I still love the story.

Lord Majestros:
Wonder Woman is back as a founding member instead of Black Canary in the current continuity. Superman and Batman are founders again as well.

I had completely forgotten about that. Bye bye JLA: YEAR ONE.

No, Scott, they couldn't. There would be absolutely no way to do that and have it make any sense.

It's comic books. Any writer could do it. Especially Mark Waid.

Does anyone else think this sort of takes away from the Justice League now? I mean now that it is a club started by those three instead of a group hero's who wanted to do even more with their powers. I mean why do Supes Bats and WW need to be founders? Does this actually help the team at all?

I rather they just leave things alone with the JL timeline cause its been pretty flesh out over the years.

Lord Majestros:
It's just been returned to what it was pre-Crisis. While the actual story hasn't been shown yet, it seems like the events leading to the formation of the JLA are pretty much the same as pre-Crisis. When Superboy Prime was punching the wall os his prison and affecting reality, one of the things they showed was a scene from the original story.
