Did anyone get this issue. I was tempted by the JLofA cover, but a quick perusal of the book didn't show me much if any JLofA content. This seems like a needless crossover money-grab to me. Am I wrong on this, and should I get it? :-/

Unless you're actually interested in Countdown I'd say no. This issue does have a short scene that ties into the Lightning Saga but as with the other tie-ins they've had so far it doesn't reaveal anything new and seems more like padding than anything else.

Would have been a better cover for JLA #10 or any of "The Lightning Saga" crossover issues.

Do you by chance have the alternate cover image?

Sorry, no I don't. Here's the best that I can do for now.

WHY DIDN'T THEY USE THOSE! They are much better than the Turner covers. I'm not a fan of Turner's mind you, but these have drama and action in them. Turner's look like cardboard cut-outs. Does anybody have clean scans of all the jiminez covers?
