Hello folks! Got a little question to ask you board denizens today. Namely, where exactly have you all been getting your JLU/DC Heroes figures at? My location of the line's been really, really sporadic over the years, and I'm really hoping to not miss the Hawkman due out. Any good places to get them reasonably priced online? Which stores usually carry them? Hope you guys can give me some good advice here! Thanks a bunch!

I recently stopped collecting the JLU/DCSU line because of the Vigilante debacle. And I've noticed that stores don't seem to be stocking/displaying them as much anymore. They're pretty non-existent at K-Mart and Wal-Mart. Toys R Us never seems to have them. Target is pretty much the only place that I've seen any JLU/DCSH figures.

What have you done for the black guys?' And my answer would have been, I saved the world 15,000 times, duh. I didn't go out to save the white guys, I saved the world. So get off my back."

What was this? I must have missed it.

Well a lot of it has to do with Mattel holding off on releasing figures due to Spider Man, Pirates and Transformers all having movies out. Target has really been the only one getting any shipments in, and even those are sporatic at best. But I imagine that things will start getting better with Mattel getting the DCU master license and supposedly their own aisle headers.

The "so-called" Vigilante debacle happened when people couldn't find Vigilante/Orion when they 1st came out around Christmas last year and quit the buying them. But IMO one of the best things about the JLU line is that there hasn't been too many figures that haven't been rereleased further down the line. Right now that lost wave is shipping along with singles of Vixen, Kyle Rayner and Sinestro.

The single Vigilante figure shipped 1 per case. Scalpers/employees grabbed them up and sold them on eBay for $40-$50 each. The Orion single also shipped 1 per case but was more available than Vigilante and he sold for only $20.
