What is your favorite Aquaman in the JLA moment?

It's a tie. Either the Deadman guest-shot where he possessed him (just because it's so fun!) or Arthur being the reason that the League shared their secret identities with each other in the first place.

At the beginning of Morrison's run when he gave Zum a seizure by locating the part of his brain that made descended from fish. I had a giggle...

-bigtime out.

I liked BigTime's and TJ's answers, but I also like how Aquaman took command over the League right after the Martian Invasion (even though that DID lead to the Detroit League.

I also liked the very first Construct story with Elongated Man and the Atom way back in the '70's. \:\)

Whatever DID happen to The Construct? The last time I saw that villian was during The Red Tornado's miniseries around 1984 or '85. Has he appeared ANYWHERE since?

When AQ saved Martian Manhunter from Despero and proceeded to kick some butt in Crisis of Conscience.

Aquaman forcibly mind-controlling Steel to keep him in line still leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the sake of both characters, so I can't give that one the nod. (Plus the idea that the League's better off with a full-time Vibe than a part-time Superman is still high on my ridiculous idea list.)

He was in the first JLI arc as a pawn of Maxwell Lord's computer. He also was taken down by the Morrison JLA in an issue of Chase in a pretty cool sequence.

That was pretty cool, I must admit!

I'd forgot that one! That's a pretty cool moment, and it expanded nicely on what we already know Aquaman can do.

I'd have to back the "Reason for sharing Identities" moment, but Crisis of Conscience as a close 2nd.

I liked how Aquaman's telepathy would finally work on humans, but I DISLIKED how Aquaman's ability was revealed in such a manner. Heh. You'll notice, that that DID happen during the JLA era I disliked. \:\)

I forgot about the JLI arc, but never read the Chase story. Thanks! \:\)

Don't know if this counts as a "JLA moment", but how about when Aquaman basically told Namor to unpucker his starfish, and then dropped a killer whale on him, in the DC vs Marvel crossover? The dialog between the two was classic and then to see the orca body slam, it had me on the floor.

The Chase arc's really good. The League takes him down easy, but his plan was already in motion, requiring the intervention of the Suicide Squad. Good story!

> What is your favorite Aquaman in the JLA moment?

During the riot at Belle Reeve, Kyle is alone and surrounded by psychotic villains. Arthur shows up with a hug Kirby-style guk glung over his back, dripping water, and opens up a prison wall with his bear hands, and says, "Is there a problem you'd like to discuss with the Justice League, Gentlemen?"

Easily the most bada$$ Arthur moment.
