I was re-reading the 'Tornado's Path' today and it suddenly came to me where Vixen's 'new' powers may have come from.

The totem was not only part of Amazo - no matter how briefly - but was also linked to the Parasite. When you combine those two sources of powers, and mix them with Vixen's own, it kind of points towards them as the answer to her current 'problem'.

I am not sure, personally, if changing her from a female (and in my humble opinion, second rate) Animal Man to a female (and in my humble opinion, second rate ) Amazo/Parasite is a good thing but to be honest I am not sure what can be done for the character ... though that is probably as much to do with my love of Animal Man as it is my apathy for her character.
