as cool folks out there know, Dwayne McDuffie is an comics writer and TV writer/producer, who created Static and other Milestone heroes, also worked on Justice League cartoons and comics, and lots of other stuff--

and he's from Detroit!

and on a comics message board he expressed that he's been trying to get "invited" to the MotorCity Comic-con "for years".

So can ya help a guy out! I'd really like to get his autograph & a photo.. and I'm sure others would as well..
