I cant believe no one is talking about this book... initially i was a bit puzzled by the character choices.....

GL, GA, Atom and Supergirl made perfect sense

I wasnt so sure about Kid Shazam, Gorilla or Starman and I aint sure where we are going with Miss Martian and Jay... but i tell you a couple of things

the story is well worded and compelling, the art is outstanding....

the cameo with all the villians is great and the deaths or Arak and Penny Dreadful were shocking... to be honest that was the only thing i DIDNT LIKE.. i remember Helix well from Infinity Inc and Penny just wouldnt turn on him like that... they were family....

The last page spread with the leaguers ie Zatanna, Flash, Hawks etc was lovely

this is all obviously pre blackest night....??

I just read issue #5 (I get my comics once a month or so, so I'm usually a little behind.) I was once a fan of Robinson... particularly his work on Starman... like everyone else. But this comic is just so poorly written it's as if he's writing it in his sleep. It's really a shame because Mauro Cascioli's artwork is beautiful, so it makes me want to read it, but I just feel nauseated when I actually do. Every issue I think, okay, it's going to get better. And I'm so disappointed when it's not.

I can't really imaging his JLA being any better, but I've got my finger's crossed.
