Read a near-score of books since a near-month off all comics and this just shot up to one of the best of the bunch...

A very good issue! It had everything. Even though an inviting cover... that Atom and (unknown) gorilla really ruins it! And Donna SHOULD have been equally prominent on both variants. [And not sure about Flash not in or on cover.]

Satisfactory Blackest Night closure - w/o much spoilage. Even though choosing Donna as the main lead really ruins her neck-bite cliffhanger for me.

Beautiful art - especially Donna and Diana!!!!! Even though a superficial sexy style... hmmph, so what - it was refreshing after quite the few mediocre books.

The lineup seems intentionally iconic which should help sales - even though the choices are a bit cliche and hardly 'the greatest superheroes'.

Entertaining dialogue and narration. Even though have no idea what Donna's icon represents. Though Troy's personality spotlight worked well and makes sense that children in trouble would motivate her it was odd her not caring to start with. BN must've really took its toll on her.

Not a fan of Mon-El taking the Superman title, for now, so the 3 pages here felt a bit indulgent - even though understandable.

Very good stuff: action, guest appearances (generous # or heroes and villains), 1777 flashback, (presumably)new alien purple guy, inter-title acknowledgement and characterizing, banner image for the BMB, Kimi costume, roster development.

This'll even be a better ish if any answers are forthcoming to:
-What issue was the Prometheus story and why'd they vote him free?
-Is this before or after the Red Tornado mini?
-Okay. there was a neat usage of Darwin Jones named but who were all the established DC characters in 1777 here?
-Who did Cyborg beat?
-Who did Green Arrow beat and why did he flashback to Prometheus?
-Who expects to see more of the forgotten Miss Liberty?
