It looks interesting, unlike JLI this is a different genre and spin on a JLA team and operates in a different world to the League.
I think it's maybe a bit too dark a tone for a JLA book but it does hark back to DCs more edgy horror books like Night Force/Shadowpact and to an extent bridges the gap to being a Vertigo title set in the DCU proper.

Obviously the only thing that is really going to be attracting attention is a writer like Pete Milligan, the actual line up of the team is not a commercial one and in a way this reminds me of Manchester/Vera Black and their JL Elite.... I doubt it's a book with legs but at least it gets Shade and Constantine front and centre in the DCU.

yeah, I felt it was too dark to be JL as well, and I am not familiar with the characters and although I have kinda heard of the writer, that isn't much of a draw(no offense meant to him)
