Justice League of America >> View Post |

I've just read on the Internet that the Justice League of America will be no more. Instead, it will make way for...THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF CANADA!!! That's right, Jeff Lemire gave it away at Fan Expo in Toronto that there will be a Justice League based in Canada. No word on the full roster, but one member will be Adam Strange. Here's my bet for the JLC roster: Steve Trevor (leader) Martian Manhunter Adam Strange Green Arrow Hawkman Black Canary Centrix (the Global Guardian from Justice League Quarterly #17, who incidentally is a Canadian) Katana Atom (either Palmer or Pineda now that the new Atom is part of the Crime Syndicate) Green Lantern Simon Baz Basically, it's the same as JLA, but with a few exceptions. Stargirl is All-American and I think she should emigrate to Earth-2 since she was originally part of the JSA. Catwoman would return to her shady past and be a loner. Vibe would not fit in with the Canadian idea and would end up being killed in his magazine (no offense, but I hate Vibe). Lemire hinted Adam Strange as a member, the Black Canary would be a good substitute for Catwoman, Atom would be a good substitute for both Vibe and Atomica, and Centrix is the only Canadian hero I can think up to join JLC since he is from Canada. However, the thing about Centrix is that he only appeared once, on one panel. | |||
