Johns is writing the same issue over and over again! Get on with it all ready, you jack ass! Finish the story! Heck, *tell* a story!
A criminal waste of Fabook's considerable talents.
Nothing is happening! This is one of the worst cases of decompression I've ever seen! And he seems to think he needs another couple issues *and* yet another DS War special! Johns has some psycho-erotic fixation with Crisis characters! It was 30 years ago and nobody thinks the Anti-Monitor (or Injustice League) was that cool!
Finish this boring ass story all ready and kill your crappy NuUniverse for the next piece of dung to come down the pike!
Johns, Lee, and Didio are disasters. They should all be fired. The entire staffs of Marvel and DC should be fired and just bury the companies.

Considerable, indeed. Loved the artwork here.

That last panel blurb about continuing in Justice Leauge: Darkseid War #1 made me groan out loud upon reading it. UGH. (The possible kinky plans -to stretch things out more- that Grail infers in the panel for Trevor made me cringe a little too.)
Justice League 048 (2016)
More accurately it "coasts" along in the decompressed disaster you noted.
They're "forced" by Wonder Woman since the team didn't appear to vote on her say so.
We do not find anything out at all - unless it's secret is that it's ready to pop.
No point in considering logical replacements since there is sadly no concern for cross-title canon anymore.
Testify! Some of the moments in this ish were okay and would have been considered quite notable if there wasn't a DisrespeCt for continuity.
It's rather difficult if most of the elements are intended to play off key points of the past forever all the way back to Jack Kirby's work.
Agreed. The art is fantastic grabber material. That double splash of the GLC arriving? Supe-poib!
At this pace this offputting Darkseid War may not be over!
Props to Stewart there. Can anyone name all the key Lanterns that showed up with him?

Hmm, I read this book two weeks ago and can't remember a thing about it...
Really the flaws of this storyline come down to the now usual problems of a storyline being stretched beyond its natural length and an innate lack of any human scale or dimension to it.
When I reviwed the initial issues of the storyline I made the point that Geoff Johns' apparent ignorance or disregard for the basic continuity of Earth-2 and Worlds End was both off-putting and disrespectful to the reader, that feeling of disconnect, of a writer just writing whatever, does serve to undermine the enjoyment of the piece, but in its simplest terms The Darkseid War is a story without any real point. Lots of stuff is happening but none of it feels important or with any lasting impression.
In short I just don't care about this latest story anymore. As like The Amazo Virus before it it is unwaveringly dark in its tone and execution and evidently takes place inside its own sealed bubble....
