    Hawkman (2018-) #7
The origin of Hawkman revealed! Rocketing across the cosmos in his newly re-covered spaceship, Carter Hall is en route to the next stop on his adventure through time and space. He doesn’t have Netflix to pass the time, but he does have something even better. Locked within the ship’s memory banks is the truth behind Carter Hall’s reincarnation ability, as well as his connection to the Deathbringers—giant, winged beings of immeasurable power on their way to destroy Earth!

So, they took a perfectly workable Ancient Egyptian reincarnation origin and remade it, for convoluting-reasons-no-doubt, then another writer did it again, then another writer, then again, and so on 'til this series. Now, appears it's still a reincarnation curse but Much more ancient in it's beginnings, much more cosmic, and much more solo(ie. no original female counterpart).

So, does that mean NOW the lineage of his incarnations listed on the attached page are in sequential order? Thangarian Ktar Deathbringer (aka Katar Hol??) is here and Carter Hall is gone? Would his stint in the DCU's Wild West Era be NOT in that list or part of the Earth Entry decades before Carter Hall's days?

    Justice League (2018-) #14
Let’s take a trip to “Hawkworld” in part one of a new Totality-related storyline! Martian Manhunter, John Stewart and Hawkgirl avoided “Drowned Earth” with a detour to Thanagar-Prime: J’onn looks to tap into the ancient Martian mental database, GL struggles while practicing his new UV powers, and Kendra searches for answers about her connection to the Totality.

We see (a very secretive) Shayera Hol and Kendra in the same place at the same time! What's up with that? Would it be fair to assume that either, both?, would be aware of the retconned Hawkman canon - as if it weren't a change at all from their POV? Has anyone read tweets or facebook confirmations of what DC has planned for the iconic Hawkman? Is this the first time in print he was referred to as THE SAVAGE Hawkman? This is definitely the first time Thanagar is revealed to be out of phase planet, right?

Any insight or speculation is appreciated. Are you enjoying all his timeline tweaking after 7 issues? Presumably he still has post-Rebirth ex-JLA status, eh?
