Cut to a Queen/Lance status update that would've been better as the prologue. We learn mehworthy tidbits: that was FAKE Deathstroke; Lois confirms Daemon IS her bro; a dog can change colors (or editorial SNAFU *eyeroll*); where BC and GA keep their teleport tubes; and, a boring trope of no one injured and bad guys escape.
Synmar motives/backstory exposition. More pathetic than powerful.

Door connects HoJ to Tower of Fate - (glaring?) overlooked precident for past missions in hindsight. Was there a backissue story about this feature?
Batman sounds wimpy thanking Flash like that. [Not that any other member got much better -if any- characterization.]
Round 2, Synmar survives Hippolyta, Black Adam, and Naomi - no problem.

The MAIN story AND ART were BAD. The backup was better than that, this time, and better than backup from last ish, too.
