Should these three time-travel back to the days of WWII, and join the JSA? Would that be a good way to be able to bring a few Golden Age tales back into canon in the DCU? Is the Queen Hippolyta as Wonder Woman storyline still canon?

NO! We don't need to make their histories even more convoluted than it is now. How would we explain when Superman and Batman first appeared, that everyone thinks they were the grandsons of some guys who were around in the 40's?

It doesn't make sense in Hippolyte's case either.

Ironing Man

I don't want to see them pull a Hypolyta and live there for 12 or so years, but it would be a fun story to see them all go back together and team up with the JSA for a few days, maybe weeks. I'd love to see them meet their "new" counterparts from Young All Stars.

Personally, I still consider Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman apart of the JSA history. Maybe one day the writers of the DCU will fix this mess they did when they plucked them from existence and messed up the whole DCU.

I would love to have the original trinity come from the 1940s.

Wonder Woman as the Fury: she comes to the Man's world to avenge the death of a fellow amazon. She takes the name the "Fury" and is recruited by Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle. Wonder Woman dons on a blonde wig and fights alongside her time traveling mother.

Batman as Flying Fox: his parents die and Bruce Wayne goes throughout the world to train to become the best hero. While saving the life of a tribal shaman from Nazis, Bruce Wayne is given the supernatural power of the Flying Fox.

Superman as Iron Monroe: he travels the world, unsure of his life and his powers, when he comes across Gurda attacking TNT and Dyna Mite. Clark takes the name Iron Monroe to hide his identity from enemies. Iron Monroe joins the Young All Stars.

After WW2, these heroes all go their separate ways through a small bit of time traveling...

Wonder Woman avenges her fellow Amazon's death and goes back to Paradise Island. After Clark's parents die, he abandons his secret identity and goes into the future as a hero that they call Superman among the Legion of Superheroes. He comes back around the first modern age of superheroes. Bruce Wayne goes into a trance where he puts his body into suspended animation as he explores his mystical side. When he comes back, he realizes that his Wayne Manor awaits him and he takes on the identity of Bruce Wayne II and the Batman.
