I would have to go with the roster they had during Black Reign. Captain Marvel was a perfect fit. And I just loved the whole team mechanic then. Granted I havnt read JSA for too aweful many years I do alot of back issue reading \:P

The Black Reign roster's actually my second-favorite. My all-time favorite is the classic roster we see in most of the 40s flashback stories.

I think my favorite must be the current one. Somehow I'm reading this comic and looking forward to every issue, and I wasn't doing that before the relaunch, and it's the same writer as before so I guess it must be the line-up that I like better.

Favorite would be the one of the early 70's where everyone that was a member was part of the team including Mr. Terrific and Wildcat who guest-starred a couple of times in the 40's and the Super-Squad consisting of the Star Spangled Kid, Powergirl, the adult Robin and the Huntress filling out the ranks for the next generation.

The late 70's/early 80's roster around the Perez JLA era. The 1981 JLA/JSA cross-over was the first JSA story I ever read. Plus, my favorite JSAers were all active members at the time: Hourman, Dr. Fate, Flash, Green Lantern, and Dr. Mid-Nite.
