Anyone else excited to find out about the new Ving Rhames-tastic Amazing Man?

I have been wanting a new one since the last one died in Starman. I was hoping hed come back, but obviously that aint happening.

I find the costume a little annoying though, we all know the kinds of situations Superheroes get into, is it really smart to be wearing a flimsy open shirt?

I digress, we'll probably find out hes invulnerable to the elements.

I love the new diversity in the DCU too. when was the last time the JLA had four black characters on it?

thoughts?

I am. Do we know for sure he's "new" yet, though. I'd prefer if it were the real successor, from Starman, revived.

DO we know that or not?

When your power is to mimic the elemental properties of anything you touch, yes. \:\)

Doubtlessly.

Please. We had Bucky 'confirmed' as blown to bits on panel and he's now Captain America.

No, we really didn't. Bucky's death was never shown. We've seen an explosion... but not a death. Even Steve didn't believe it for years, until he stole Doom's time machine to see for himself... and even then, all he saw was the explosion.

Y'know, Bloodwynd's one of DC's more interesting mystics, since he doesn't really fit the majority of the stereotypes of a magic-user, and he's so morally grey. I'd love to see him used someplace more often. Shadowpact, perhaps?
