Correct. Amazing Man was a retcon.

Yeah, Geoff Johns isn't half the writer that Roy Thomas was. It's sad that Didio has left the golden age heroes in hands of a hack.

See rule #5 for more on this. This is your only warning.

I don't believe those remarks are insulting. At best they are a reasonable opinion, at worst they are a statement of fact.

Well, calling someone a "hack" is not a reasonable opinion or a statement of fact. It's insulting a writer that you don't like their work. If you don't like the way a writer is telling stories, express that opinion in a better ways than calling them names. In any case, this isn't up to a debate.

Sorry, I didn't think my comments were that insulting. I thought they were rather tame and accurate. I won't pick on Johns anymore. I'll let his work speak for itself. J.H.

Wow, ok, s he's retconned. Gotta love it. So who was supposed to have taken his place? Anyone? Who's brainchild is this? Or need I ask? I have my suspicions, but don't want to break open that can of worms. At least retcon something worthwhile, like the original Liberty Belle's horrendous attitude. Put her and the current Hippolyta in a room together and watch the catfight. And everyone thought PG had a perm case of PMS...yowsa

The original Amazing Man didn't replace any character that I am aware of. He was just a "new" 1940's character who was created in the 1980's.
