Just wondering what other characters would you like to join? Do you want them to keep the legacy thing going? Or get some old characters back? I heard Dr. Fate might be coming back(interview with Bill Wilmingham).

I think it's already legacy heavy and it's close to having more teenage heroes than the Teen Titans. I'd like to see a few more actual GA characters worked in without being retooled to the point of being different characters ala Neon the Uknown if the Freedom Fighters. A pity they've seen fit to kill off so many of them.

Mr Scarlet: if they go with how he was presented in Power of Shazam, this is actually his ward Pinky, so they can get both an actual GA hero and a legacy at the same time. He could serve as the Earth-2 Robin.

Gary Concord, the Ultra Man: he'd be time-tossed, but would fit in nicely the slots that the legionnaire Starman and Superman vacated.

Let's see more of Stripesy and S.T.R.I.P.E. Doesn't make sense that Courtney is there and we never see her adoptive father.

The Shining Knight.

I read a few years back a fan-fiction story that had Stuff taking over for The Vigilate as "The Chinatown Kid". That would be cool and, again, an actual GA character as a legacy.

I'd love to see Donna Troy even for just a short guest appearance or filling in for Powergirl. Hippolyta not having a legacy seems a little odd to me and she needs to get out of that Titans funk.

Another character I'd be interested in seeing would be Airwave. He'd have to be ressurected somehow but he's a legacy of his father and has connections to Green Lantern, Green Arrow, and Black Canary. Relatively obscure he'd seem like a whole new character to a lot of fans.

I forgot about Airwave. I would really like to see him. It would be cool for him and Hal Jordan GL to join up for an adventure.

I'd like to second Dr Fate. I'd prefer for it to be the original or Hector Hall, but I'd settle for the new one. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the cast as it is.

This really got me thinking. If i were a writer, this is what i would do. A villain attacks the JSA headquarters, seeking revenge on Hippolyta (she defeated him/her during their first battle with the JSA during WWI). The battle is going badly for the JSA, when Alan sends out a beacon to search for Wonder Woman. The end of the issue shows Donna swooping in (in either the Wonder Woman armor she wore or her new silver screaming chicken armor) swinging a mace. "You want Wonder Woman? You've got her!!"

Next issue: Donna puts a MAJOR smackdown on the villain and her leadership skills allow the JSA to overcome the villain and his/her minions. Jay is so impressed with Donna he immediately offers her membership, as a legacy of Hippolyta. Donna is overwhelmed at being recognized as part of the Wonder Woman family by her "mother's" peers. She almost accepts, then tearfully tells Jay her home is with the Titans.

Wish i were a real writer....

I don't want to see ANYONE else join the JSA. I want to see them develope the characters they have who seldom get any page time as it is - like JJ Thunder and Sand. Those are two very interesting characters who hardly get to do anything. After the Gog story you would think the JSA would be sick of recruiting for the next couple of years. Even some of the newer charcters added as of Justice Society #1 like Steele and Cyclone (who is really starting to get on my nerves) haven't been doing a whole lot lately. There is no need for any more new characters.

My interest in this book reliably waxes and wanes with the presence of two characters (fairly, I could say three characters... Black Adam was a huge draw for me up until Black Reign, but I certainly don't want him to be a regular member of the lineup anymore): Hawkman and Dr. Fate. Without either of them, I'm not nearly as excited as I have been in the past.

Otherwise? I wouldn't mind seeing the Swashbuckler, the Vigilante's nephew drop by. Mr. America was fun. (So, of course, Wildcat had to say he was worthless... what is it about the founders' membership decisions in this book that continually annoys me?)

Based on that, I'd say you were a real writer. It's a great idea but I'd rather have her stay with the JSA than the Titans.

I'd like to see a new Starman in Ted Knights classic garb.

Some off the wall people that aren't JSA legacies?

Firehawk
Gypsy
Question
Black Orchid
Thornn
Owlman
Icesickle (well...he's a legacy of their villains)

I agree with it being weird that there is no legacy for Hippolyta. I think Donna would be great for that. As someone else said, as a sub for Power Girl...only for a little while. I don't think Wonder Girl would work though. You already have Stargirl being the young experienced one to show the new girls the ropes. Unless of course there was a swap. Would be very interesting to see the change in the way those characters work. Or if not one of the Wonder Woman legacy, maybe an Amazon? The newer Fury maybe?

Also, I was hoping Dove would have joined after that Princes Of Darkness. And her sister Hawk as well. But more Dove.

You bring up an interesting point for me. I think it would be cool to see a hero with a villain's name. A new legacy character that decided to use his powers for goo. How many heroes like that are there? Capt. Boomerang maybe fits.

never really thought about it. Sand tried to get the Icesickle (sp) to turn his ways. Captain Boomerang jr is in a nebulous state as to wether he's a hero or villain. The Shade was written to be a somewhat good guy (well...he has his moments) who did bad things for fun in Starman

That could be a good idea! I can't think of any dead villain legacys right now though
