Subj: More on Major Force

As a long time reader of Captian Atom I understand where Major Force has been as a character. He is an interesting in some ways and my understanding of him was that he was coated with the alien metal (like Captain Atom) but his powers are very differant. He can project mass the same way Captain Atom can project energy. The mass he projects is something solid that is a black matter. Its physical properties are never fully explianed but I agree its like oil or maybe dark matter?? His metal body does seem to give him a tremendous degree of physical resistence and his mind is definately imbalanced perhaps this gives his some resistance to mind control and psionics. That said..

I completely agree with the others that Major Force seems to come back from the dead more than most other DCU villians. I imagine its bad writing but then again who knows? In some ways its so bad its actually amusing.

I also completely agree that a small explaination of who the villians are would benifit everyone. The reason I know what I do is that I have been reading comics too long ;\) (20 years plus). It would be good to have thier names under the big group shots of them. I remember comics used to be like this. I think this would help the newer readers out tremendously. It still would not tell you everything you needed to know but at least the reader would know the villian's names.

On another note I see alot of similarities between him and Marvel's Super Skrull, not in powers or anything like that, just the fact that both characters have come "back to life" at least 5 or 6 times. This and the explainations get crazier and stranger everytime ;\) Some food for thought.

good reading to you all.
