Power Girl #25
This was an inspiratonal arc. The presentation RAYHAN MAZIN emoted wonderful pathos. IT WAS SO GOOD to see him finally get his deserved happy ending!
His conflict facing PG and Batman was thought provoking as a reader knowing that he was in the right all along while the heroes did what they felt right.
It was a small price to be paid giving PG such underwhelming presence but she tried - and the feelgood payoff for the antagonist was worth it. The evaporating the rainfall was a neat idea - though not that easy as presented. Not a fan of the JSA but it might be neat to check out his appearance if Rayhan is done this well. Hope/suggest he takes on the codename LIONSHEART.
Batman's batdrug and blackbox checking was too distracting as it was presented too rushed AND in a behind-the-scene effort to make it a bit offsetting as both were important to add to the very heartwarming reunion scene.
How did you take the last page? Kara cockiness in agreeing wholeheartedly she is one of the best? Taking inspirational comfort in Batman modestly returning her compliment of respect about being the best? Bragging - after this screwup? Selfconfidence? Little column A a little B? Or some other way? It was a character moment... but not sure how it was intended.
Anyways, good conclusion. And next issue's cover promises to put some fun back in the comic. Maybe some type Waynes World fun possibly after seeing that cover?! Exsqueeze me?
Still missing my brother...
