MS. MARVEL #13: As usual, this series never fails to disappoint me, which is the reason why it's my number one favorite read at the moment and will likely always be that way. This issue mostly set thing up for the future, dipping into the ongoing AIM subplot, in addition to seeing Arachne once again, searching for her daughter. There was more with Sarah Day, too, although nothing sinister happened this time around. The artwork was fabulous, too, and I loved that last page shot of Arachne! *eek*

NEW AVENGERS #28: I have come to see the "New" in New Avengers as of this issue. With Cap dead and Iron Man on the other team, there are no longer any classic Avengers around; everyone on the team has truly made these guys the "New" Avengers. Story-wise, I liked the framing sequence with the Silver Samurai and how it wrapped around the lead-in to the big Mighty v.s. New clash. While this book is certainly not near the caliber of the classic stories, I still enjoy this title for the most part, especially now that I see them in a different light, which I think helps things. I have to say, though -- I'm not a fan of Yu's art. I used to be, back when he had great inkers, but by

CIVIL WAR: BATTLE DAMAGE REPORT: I've always liked the specialty handbooks (I plan on buying the Magic one) and this one was right on the mark. Lots of great entries like Cybermancer, Equinox, Goldbug, Ricadonna's Rogues (who I love), Heroes For Hire and more. The appendix deal at the end was nice, too, although it obviously didn't cover everybody. I think the Marvel writers need to look through the last five pages of this book and use some of these guys in a serious way. That's what they're there for. Seeing guys like Thunderbolt and Aquarian again would be nice.

And that's all she wrote! Thanks for reading, and have a nice day. \:\-\)
