This isn't about any issue of the comic. I just wanted to mention that I'm reading this book now. I hadn't been reading it, because I hated high school so it takes a lot to get me to see high school as entertaining. Still, I was a Buffy fan, so sometimes I deviate.

The Champions comic was my gateway to the Brooklyn Visions Academy (where Miles goes to school). I'm reading Iron Heart too and the Champions had a lot to do with that also.

But Miles Morales has something truly amazing: the dynamic duo of Javier Garron and David Curiel on art. Marvel is clearly serious about this comic. They've put what may be their premiere art team on it. I mean, just look at these pages! This may be the best art on the shelves today.

Cool team affiliation, graphic beauty - and one more thing. Peter Parker has been unreadable for me since... oh man, since at least Civil War. I just can't bring myself to buy a Peter Parker comic. But I used to love buying Amazing and Spectacular and all the rest. What's a guy to do? I totally get why people used to buy Ultimate Spider-Man. I don't know if most of those people used to buy 616 Spidey too, but I bet a decent percentage of them didn't. It's like that for me right now with Miles Morales.

Anyone else buying this book?
