Daredevil 010 (2019)

Struggling to stay on with this book. (No mumb reactions on last ish doesn't help the cause.)

The exciting choreography made up some for the plain servicable artwork.

Aww, Matt feels guilty about the affair. [sarcasm]He should make a public apology so that will smooth things over.[/sarcasm] If he is sincere, does that mean we'll see him in a confessional scene for this? We should but prob won't, eh.

Got the gist of it but it really would've been more clear if readers were reminded why North got into a firefight with the bad cops once his hospitalized partner went into a coma - didn't he blame DD for his partner's fate?

It is REALLY OFFPUTTING to just give passing comment on the whole People Subbing for Daredevil subplot still. We have no idea of the scope, duration or Murdock reaction to it all for issues now. Grr.

As peeving as the canon of limiting or expanding the power of DD's radar senses are, the story practice is just trope and not really the writer's fault but he is responsible for using it as convenient plot device. Matt's senses are overwhelmed in the precinct 'cuz of racing hearts and loud voices? How is he so efficient in all those giant brawls he joins in on. And later in the same issue he is easily distinguishing umpteen separate voices up to (at least) a mile away. It gets annoying - if they keep repeating the trope then they should repeat how he can easily and constantly tune out the cacophony to live his 'normal' life. BTW, it WAS a cool f/x with the voiced words in big background letters.

Quick changing in front of a prisoner. That bonehead could come back to bite Him in the butt. And talk about SLOW SUPERHERO reaction time?! Ready to go - and yet, like, 21 gunshots and umpteen punch/kicks later the masked Murdock gets in on the action.

The good cover might've been better set in front of a Police Station instead. Overall the story was still engaging enough. It'd make a decent Netflix ep. And the overused but welcome entrance of the last page superheroine was a bonus teaser for next ish. (Plus Spidey is on the cover for #11!)
