I am a huge bronze age fan. Which means Im old and nostalgic. In the last few years, insted of buying current comics I am focusing on comics from the 70's. Not the super expensive keys, I work for a living. Anyways, I have for years loved Alex Ross's tribute to the bronze age print. Long question short, to late. In your oppionion who do you feel is missing from this print? The first two that come to mind is Morbius and Doc Samson.

Maybe my old eyes just don't see him but... Adam Warlock! Also don't see Brother Voodoo. City of Heroes is BACK!

Yep, you just missed Adam Warlock. He is right under Captain Marvel in the center. It's definitely a cool picture!!

Defiantly agree about Deathlok, but also Dracula, one if the biggest sellers of the 70s. On a personal level, I would have also had The Zombie and Cap as Nomad (they have Iron Man with a nose)

Quote: Which means I'm old and nostalgic. Not necessary, I developed a love for Bronze Age comics in High School, and while I am not as young as I used to be, and I was born post-Watchmen (but just barely). No nostalgia.

Andro the Doomsman, Vera Gemini, Professor Phobos and the Berserker ... kidding ![]() http://www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/astonishing_tales_13.shtml http://www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/giantsize_supervillain_teamup_1.shtml http://www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/defenders_58-60.shtml http://www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/hulk_258-259.shtml http://www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/avengers_207-208.shtml Perhaps, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, I was wondering about the time length of the Bronze Age itself ... - Bronze Age = January 1970 - May 1984 ? - or Bronze Age = 1970s and Copper Age = January 1980 - May 1984 ?

Man-Thing is in the image, right behind Moon Knight. I missed him the first once over as well.

Namor yes. I believe the other character is Captain Universe. That said, I wish Rom was still in the Marvel Universe. I have fond memories of riding my bike to the store and buying Rom comics back in the day.
