Whispering Hands types very quietly:
How about a request for The World Where You Live by Crowded House?

I never heard this before. At the very beginning, my first thought was The Harlem Shuffle.
It's pretty good. I think the only song I know by them is Something So Strong.

I've been thinking of requesting this song the last two weeks, but you beat me to it. It's a great song. I remember MTV playing the video often in those early days and it always had a buzz about it because of the subject matter. Great, powerful song. I remember "Up All Night" being played occasionally, too.

I love the Pretenders, but this is a song that I never took too. It's good, but lacks the rocking edge of Precious and Tattooed Love Boys and wasn't as catchy as Talk Of The Town and Message Of Love.

I like this one. It's a great song by Tommy James and Jett does a good job making it heavier.

Classic songs. I don't remember Rachel Sweet at all though. There's an awful lot of echo on her voice.
I had a KISS album where the covered Then She Kissed Me.

I remember making fun of this one, especially Astley's dance moves. I'm sure it's better than I think, but my opinion will always be jaded.

This was a big hit that everyone liked. It got played into the ground, but I haven't heard it in years, so I enjoyed it. I remember the video very well.

Thanks for the request, another really underrated 80s band IMO. They are huge in their native New Zealand I've heard though.

Who does?

To me this is their quintessential song. Heard it a lot growing up.

I really thought this was an awesome cover, and I don't really like the original. Great pick!

Wasn't into this one.

It's totally 80s cheese but it's catchy and hilarious even after Youtube ruined it.

This is always a fun song to hear.

Hmmm let's see how about a request for Bigmouth Strikes Again by The Smiths?
