The comic of the week is the Jan. 1980 issue of the Hands of Shang-Chi, The Master of Kung Fu #87 "The Chrysalis and the Peacock" by Doug Moench, Mike Zeck, and Gene Day

Great stuff! Moench really had a handle on Shang-Chi, one of the great comics of the 70's. The title was still pretty strong in the 80's, but lost a bit of steam from the earlier work.

I was a fan of this comic. I wish it could have lasted into the present day. It was certainly one of the high points of the Bronze Age and early 80s.
