Batman was the best animated series of the nineties, with Superman coming in second. That's my opinion.

Superman
Batman
The Tick
Gargoyles
Iron Man (second season)
Fantastic Four (second season)
Spider-Man
Animaniacs
Tiny Toon Adventures
South Park

Conversely, the WORST cartoons were:

Beavis & Butthead
Daria
The Avengers
Adult Swim

I agree with the first on your list but I liked the other three.

I actually bought the Avengers toys!

Iron Man Unit 007

Best:

1. Batman The Animated Series
2. Superman the Animated Series
3. X-men the Animated series
4. Spider-man the Animated series (WHY IS THIS NOT ON DVD BLURAY IN THE STATES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)
5. Season 1 of the Hulk
6. Pinky and the Brain
7. Batman Beyond

Among the lousy:
1. Season 1 of Iron Man and fantastic four
2. Season 2 of the Hulk (series got too campy and stupid)\
3. Spiderman Unlimited (nice try)

Bevis and Butthead was great when I was a teen and rebellious. They were both so darn stupid. My favorite part was the music videos.

As a kid in the 80s my favorite on Saturday mornings was Dungeons and Dragons.

I'd heard every time Beavis & Butthead had a video on TV, it didn't matter if they "liked" it or not. Just the EXPOSURE of the video would elevate album sales a lot!

I think I bought a few of the cartoon Avengers toys, probably Ultron if they had one. \:\)

And one cartoon that I forgot about (probably because I hated it so much) was Liquid TV. It was on in the same time period when MTV was slowly getting away from playing music videos.

Either Disney is really being dense or there is an unknown rights/royalty issue holding it up.

I would find any lack of demand claims to be dubious....

The series IS for sale on amazon prime instant video.

Batman was the best cartoon of the decades, but my favorite was Spider-Man.

The Simpsons? Certainly can't leave that out of the debate.
