Ah, the 90s. . .

I distinctly remember catching some TV hucksters hyping-up and guaranteeing the astronomical value increases in the newly release SUPERMAN HUNER/PREY and the introduction of the new Batman, Jean Paul Valley.

As a dumb kid, I actually got hyped-up by these sales pitches and the salesmen (who I'm sure never read a comic) made them sound freakin' awesome!

Definitely never saw comics for sale on QVC, but I never watched much QVC. I used to enjoy watching infomercials. They were always so ridiculous that they were funny \:\)

Who was that idiot who kept shouting how good "X-MAN" comics were? Was he on QVC or Home Shopping Network?

I saw both Dan Jurgens and George Perez on HSN, I believe, and even got to call in with Mr. Jurgens. \:\)

I remember one QVC comic book program that showcased (in part) Uncanny X-Men #300 in some way, around the time it came out, and (I think) had Stan Lee with him. I think there was also a Spidey-related one as some point, perhaps done for the 30th anniversary. I thought this/these was/were great as a kid too.

Question I looked up on google: Will Ash Vs. Evil Dead be continued as a cartoon?

"In an interview with Collider during San Diego Comic-Con, genre entertainment icon Bruce Campbell confirmed that the powers that be are in conversation to continue his character's demon-busting adventures in a new animated series version of Ash vs. Evil Dead. 'You can do the future a lot easier in animation.'"
