Subj: IDW ROM #10
Posted: Wed May 17, 2017 at 11:42:43 pm EDT (Viewed 5 times)

ROM takes his fellow knights to meet some humans who think they are cybertronians and want to take selfies with them, etc.

All 3 have some fun until they are alerted by a human that something isn't right at a nearby church.

They investigate and the priest is a Wraith who boasts of their plans and the god the wraiths serve. Apparently the wraiths want all of the energy of every human on the planet to make Earth into a new Wraith world.

The Wraith is resistant to Livia's neutralizer until ROM adds his to the attack and Orphion uses his other weapons as ROM had absorbed his last issue.

The Wraith is ash and Orphion is convinced that Earth is unique but is still uncertain if he should destroy the planet or not.

Darby and her Wraith friend are planning to retrieve a stolen energy analzyer from a fallen Solstar Knight so that they can expose the wraiths to the world.

ROM's other friend that was infected and later disarmed by Orphion awakes.

Also a Tales of the Solstar Knights backup story feature begins next issue. This will undoubtedly serve the same purpose as the Saga of the Spaceknights backup feature did in the old Marvel series.

artwork is still decent but could be better.

So far this series is reminding me more and more of the biobooster armor Guyver manga in some ways.

CLASSIC MARVEL ROM #10

ROM breaks Brandy and Steve out of jail. he analyzes the cops and none are wraiths, but look carefully in that scene and it looks like Steve is flinching away from the beam.....that is because they have switched Steve with a Wraith!

ROM learns where Washington D.C. is and uses his analyzer to track the energy of his stolen neutralizer. D.C. scrambles jets which ROM is forced to deal with, then gets paralyzed from behind and captured by the Wraith, Dr. Rachel Sweet.
