Were there any? Or were Crusher and Mary unique?

It's hard to think of villains in love from ANY era! All I've come up with are the Enchantress and the Executioner - though the only one of the two with real feelings was the Executioner - but they were Silver Age characters.

Can you come up with any others from the 80s or 90s?

Didn't Rogue and Magneto have a fling? Wasn't she with the Brotherhood for a while?

The female Sphinx and the male Sphinx. Well she stalked him for a few thousand years (I think kids today would say she was "thirsty")and he tried to kill her and steal her powers a couple times. But in the end they found love and went back in time to live happily ever after.

Then they must have broke up and he was back to killing people again.

Another couple: Doctor Octopus and Stunner. Eventually Ock got killed by a spider-clone (the more times change the more they stay the same) and we found out his stunning girlfriend was really a morbidly obese fat girl who worked at Blockbuster video that he gave some sort of virtual reality body or something. Doc Ock was really the Sir Mix A Lot of his day. He doesn't care if you're super old, fat or a little person...he'll give you that triple x throwdown and help you kick those nasty thoughts.

I think they banged a little while they were in the Savage Land together.

Some of us like to think so ;\-\)
Of course this happened while they weren't villains anymore (although Magneto went back into villain mode shortly afterwards), as did their longer romance (featuring two scenes where they were clearly having sex) in X-Men Legacy.
Magneto of course is from 1963, but Rogue debuted in 1981.

But speaking of Rogue, her adoptive parents, Mystique and Destiny qualify for this thread, most of their scenes together were from the 1980s as Destiny made her debut in 1980 (cover-dated January 1981) and was killed off in 1989.

There was also the fling between Mystique ("Leni Zauber") and Sabretooth that resulted in the birth of Graydon Creed in the Sabretooth limited series of 1993. (The two characters involved however were both first published in the 1970s).

Another villainous couple, where each partner was trying to take advantage of the other one, was the Black Cat (wanting to get back at Spider-Man) and the Foreigner in some comics written by Peter David ca. 1987. More an alliance of convenience with benefits ;\-\)

Sebastian Shaw had a fiancée and ally called Lourdes Chantel, also a mutant, who was killed by Sentinels controlled by the then-leadership of the Hellfire Club. This spurred Shaw into staging a coup, killing the old leaders and making himself Black King. (Backup stories in Classic X-Men, 1987).

As for the 1990s, there is of course Harley Quinn, who first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series in 1993, and at first was hopelessly in love with the Joker (a Golden Age character), who only abused her. Also in that series you could see the first glimmerings of her other major relationship (that would eventually make it from subtext to text), with Poison Ivy, the Silver-Age villainess.
