I recently (days ago) purchased his inaugural four-part mini-series and the 21 issues of his ongoing. I previously hadn't known of these solo adventures. When I saw they existed, my interest in the original New Warriors prompted some eBay action. I haven't read the books yet, but I plan to get to them pretty soon. Did you read them? Like them? Dislike them?

I used to dislike his code name, "Night Thrasher," because it seemed to indicate a level of violence that I didn't really think he exhibited in the New Warriors series. Not that he was gentle. He wasn't. But he didn't (as far as I can recall) have the routine MO of thrashing people to within an inch of their lives. He wasn't in it purely for the violence, as far as I can recall. He just didn't shy away from the violence, which is different, to my mind. Am I misremembering him? My reading will surely answer that question, but I'm interested in your thoughts.
