90s Alicia Silverstone in a Scarlet Witch costume! ![]() Ron Perlman would've made a great Thanos. Duchovney as Banner? I think he be better at Ed Norton's version than Mark Ruffalo's, but he'd still be good. I like Broderick as Ant-Man in in the heist-style movie if he channels Ferris Bueller. I think Cruise was cocky enough to be Stark but I dont know if he's clever enough with the dialogue. Dolph Lundgren has the look for Thor but I couldn't see Thor taking off as much as he did with Helmsworth. I don't know if I could take Keanu Reeves seriously as Dr. Strange.

Really not feeling Eddie Murphy. Wesley Snipes = Falcon Terence Howard = Rhodey ![]() No Keanu -- LIAM NEESON! No reason Gamora has to be an African-American. I really don't think Berry does well in action movies. I say Angelina Jolie. Don't know about Duchovny, either. Maybe. City of Heroes is BACK!

Tom Cruise as Iron Man would be instant poison. Also the FX tech of the 90's.......insufficient.

Um... there was a Marvel (TV) movie in the 90s. It had David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury. It was not well received, mostly because Hasselhoff did not have the proper gravitas for the character. I'm not liking John Stamos as Bucky. This will knock the socks off some people here, but have 90s Robert Downey Jr as Bucky over John Stamos. (BTW, IIRC, Winter Soldier wasn't around in the 90s) And as someone else pointed out, 90s Keanu Reeves wouldn't fit as Doctor Strange. Liam's a better choice. Joe Pesci could work as Rocket, but I'd rather see him play Hammerhead. Marisa Tomei as Nebula over Demi Moore. | ||||||

When I finally watched it a couple of years ago, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Cheesy, sure. Don't forget the Generation X TV movie. I just remember rolling my eyes when Banshee is trying to recruit a new kid to the school and he tells the parents "we're going to train your kid to be a superhero." I thought the idea was train them to use powers safely? Supposedly the plaque from the front gate for the Xavier Institute was the same one they used in the first X-Men movie a few years later. Also, Captain America came out in 1990. Blade, for that matter, came out in 1998 , the same year as Nick Fury. Quite a difference in quality.

You speak of gravitas, but I have difficulty seeing Tomei as a brutally mean Nebula. Demi "GI Jane" Moore could pull it off... even 90s Nebula. Maybe Jeanette Goldstein (Aliens' Vasquez), but that's kind of a typecast. City of Heroes is BACK!
