Boomerang goes topside, but Gog follows him upwards and into the city. He goes on a rampage and Peter does his best to keep everyone safe. Fisk and his men arrive to try and take out Gog. Peter doesn't want Gog harmed so he turns on Fisk, even webbing his mouth shut as he tries to give Spidey a ringing endorsement. Boomerang throws a couple of his tools at Gog, who treats them like they're playthings and plays 'fetch' with them. Peter has an idea and tells Boomerang to throw a sleeperang, Fred does so and Gog follows it, reajusting his size to fit a small van that the sleeperang falls into.

With Gog incapacitated, Spidey and Boomerang wonder what to do with him, Peter takes Gog to Jamie and together they create an inhibitor collar to rein in the pym particles so that Gog can't regain his size...and then Peter takes Gog in to live with him, Fred and Randy. Spider-Man finally has a house pet!

My thoughts:

This issue promised that things would change for Peter Parker 'forever' but who really thinks a comedy angle like looking after an infant Gog is a long-term status quo for Peter? Sure it'll lead to hijinks with Randy, Fred and Peter (maybe even MJ when she returns)_ as they try to keep the critter under control, but it's something that subtracts a little from Peter's everyday normality. I would also have liked it if Fred and Peter knew about Gog, but Randy didn't...but then, Randy dates a super villain anyway so he's used to this being the 'new' normal for him.

Rest of the issue was fine, liked Peter webbing up Fisk's mouth as his insincere 'ringing endorsements' of Spidey got more and more loud-mouthed and annoying. Fred coming to the rescue and working in tandem with Peter was also a great cap off to their caper together, especially when Fred's cowardice had led to the whole thing spiralling out of control in the issue to begin with!
