The art looks nice.
The colours are a bit too bright for me though.

The variant cover is a bit sick.
When Donny Cates said Knull wouldn't crossover with Thor, I didn't believe him. I'm sure it will happen at some stage in the future.

....damn it...where is the helmet?

We all have things about every author, artist, and editor's depictions of favorite characters, and not one is right or wrong for everyone.

For me, I really hate the depiction of Thor without his helmet. I curse the day Marvel made a Thor movie due to knowing ahead of time that to show the actor, they would eliminate the helmet....and that pending the success of the movie, it would filter into the comic. I hate it.

But everyone has opinions like like an blankety blank....and they all stink.

Actually the reason Thor doesn't wear the helmet outside of the coronation scene is not because it hid Hemsworth's face, but because it was apparently impossible to do action scenes with. The helmet designed for the film simply wouldn't cooperate. It was moving all over the place, fell off, and smashed Hemsworth in the nose multiple times. They decided to just forgo the helmet after multiple incidents. Unfortunately, that kind of stuck around. Thor was supposedly going to get a new, more permanent helmet for Thor: The Dark World, but director Alan Taylor came on and wasn't a fan of the idea of Thor wearing a helmet so that was the end of that. The designs of the Dark World helmet can still be found online as part of promotional material that was made before Taylor came on.

My guess is that Thor will not encounter Knull in the Thor series, but may show up in the big Knull event. Thor is the guy who drove back Knull the first time and the symbiote did tell Eddie that they would need Thor when Knull returned. We'll have to wait and see.

That helmet would have been SO cool. Thanks for sharing the info!

Also I seem to recall some statements when making Indian JOnes and the Last Crusade that in some action scenes, his hat had trouble staying on his head and they had to modify it somehow

That's interesting. I never knew that. The only thing I know was that Hemsworth didn't feel comfortable wearing it, that's why he ditched it ( or maybe I'm getting confused with the hair).

Maybe, this will be the case. When did the symbiote say this to Eddie?

Venom #21
Symbiote to Eddie on meeting Thor: “Eddie, we know this one. He defeated Knull in the ancient times. We need him as an ally for what is to—“ (gets cut off by Eddie saying they don’t deserve this meeting with the Avengers).
