Zack Stenz who was one of the writers of the Thor movie revealed an odd Hela cameo that was cut out of the first Thor movie:

“In the 1st draft of the script, during Thor's coronation at one point I had Volstagg blurt out ‘What the hell!’ and Hela turn around & glare at him until he said ‘Sorry; figure of speech.’ Ash made me take out the joke, which is fortunate given the events of Ragnarok...”

Zach also said that Ash (Ashley Edward Miller, the co-writer for Thor) was the Thor expert while Zach knew nothing about Thor when he was signed on to write the script. Zach did a crash course on Simonson, Lee, Kirby, Straczynski, and even a college class on Norse Mythology, but clearly Ash held seniority.
